Oh, she’s ethereal. Amanda Seyfried ripped the red carpet at the New York premiere of her latest film, Les Misérables, which is based on the hit musical of the same name, which in turn, is based on the epic masterpiece by great French writer Victor Hugo.
Amanda rocked the perfect red-carpet look with her flowing ensemble. She wore a floor-length Alexander McQueen dress which featured a gold brocade bodice and a soft black skirt. Her blond hair was styled into a neat knotted bun. Very princessy charming.
Amanda plays Cosette, a fine young lady who has suffered abuse as a child at the hands of her supposed guardians. Cosette’s mother, Fantine, is a struggling factory worker forced into prostitution because of poverty. She had been forced to leave little Cosette in the “care” of a family she met in a town inn, unaware that they were walking right into a trap and that their lives were going into a bleak downturn.
Cosette is a picture of grace and beauty. Amanda Seyfried is perfect for the role.
The Tom Hooper film is set to be released in the US on December 25.
