Run Athletics is adding a new footwear line to join Pastry. This one is called ICON, and according to their website, “honors the legacy of Joseph Simmons a.k.a Rev Run.” The sneaker is a “classic silhouette” and comes in the basic colors of black and white.
The shoes are available now at Dr Jay’s Online and Finish Line.
Spice Girl Melanie Brown aka Mel B is following in the footsteps of her band mate Victoria Beckham, by taking a leap into the world of fashion design.
Ms. Brown is launching her own line of clothing entitled Catty Couture. She recently attended the preview for her fashion line at California Mart in Los Angeles. The line is modeled after her own style and features a lot of animal prints- especially leopard, as you can see:

She says Balenciaga inspired her to indulge in the maternity fashion world after going through her own pregnancy and Balenciaga designer Nicolas Ghesquiere kept her looking fashionable. She wants to make sure that pregnant women look and feel good.
Nicole also has plans to launch a jewelry line. Mainly dealing with costume jewelry, which will be produced by Mouawad the same company who produces super model Heidi Klum’s fine jewelry collection.
Next Top Model judge Nigel Barker will be on the first thing smoking this week to Schaumberg, Illinois to promote Prom fashions released by David’s Bridal.
Nigel will be making stops at two high school’s to discuss fashion, meet fans and possibly sign autographs. Nigel photographed the new prom fashions as part of his involvement as a celebrity endorsement for David Bridal.
Heidi Montag has released a photo for the first ad that will be in distribution for her Heidiwood clothing company that will be launched at an extravagant fashion show in Los Angeles on April 11, 2008.
