Rihanna attended the glamorous TIME 100 Gala celebrating TIME’S 100 Most Influential People In The World – who she’s one of – held at Lincoln Center in New York City.

The eighth annual TIME 100 Gala’s red carpet celebrates TIME’s 100 list which honors the 100 most influential people in the world along with musical performances, and also featured a keynote address from Hillary Clinton. Being fierce on the red carpet Rihanna is one of its guest that looking gorgeous in a fuchsia dress with a slight origami feel & gathered plunge and a hi-low hem matching with black pumps and Wilfredo Rosado rings. She pulled off the 80′s prom look with a surprisingly refreshing appeal.

Rihanna set aside all her normally outrageous clothes & looked absolutely beautiful in her fuchsia dress on the red carpet at the 8th annual TIME 100 Gala, and the sexy pop star is set to perform at the gala tonight along with R&B star Raphael Saadiq singing Bob Marley’s “Redemption Song” and one of her biggest hits to date “Umbrella”.

Designer Stella McCartney wrote in a piece about Rihanna for the mag’s issue which she stated that “Rihanna goes out of her way to support the people she believes in. She is one of the few people I know in that world of fame and celebrity who aren’t all about themselves. She’ll give a real part of herself to an ordinary person she may meet, and that’s rare.”
