With the impending release of Snow White and the Huntsman on June 1st, Kristen Stewart and her co-stars have been making the rounds to promote their movie. If I had to use a sports metaphor, I’d say Kristen has been hitting it out of the park with outfit after outfit.
At the movie’s press conference at Arundel Castle in England, Kristen wore what she wears best: a sleeveless dress with a short hemline to show off her long, long legs. The brightly colored, orange and blue (contrasting colors!), pocketed wool dress was from the Preen Pre-Fall 2012 collection. She shortened the hemline a couple of inches, but who could blame her? In fact, two out of three of her dresses featured in this post were shortened from the original runway look.
To tie her look together, she wore minimal makeup and left her hair in natural, loose waves. To emphasize her slender waist, she paired her dress with an orange patent belt and then completed the look with electric, cobalt blue, Casadei satin pumps.
Detouring from her usual look, Kristen wore a red, long-sleeved, printed, figure-hugging 10 Crosby Derek Lam Fall 2012 dress at the Berlin premiere of Snow White and the Huntsman. She paired the calf length dress with an edgy, black patent McQ belt with a hanging gold chain.
At a Madrid photo shoot, Kristen returned to her signature style with a sleeveless micro dress from BCBG Max Azaria. She complemented the black and blue dress with a side-swept braid and a black harness belt. The chic dress was also patterned with lace and sheer panels.

Snow White and the Huntsman might be the vehicle to break Kristen Stewart free from her Twilight persona. Some people wonder if the 22-year-old will always be tied to her character, Bella Swan. I saw her in the film Speak, and I think she may have the chops to expand her acting career. In Speak, she plays a high school student who is sexually assaulted and spends most of the movie silent. I look forward to the future of her acting career – maybe we’ll see her abilities in her latest film On the Road, showing in Cannes. Another thing I admire about her is that she never gave in to the whole tanning/bronzing trend.
