One of my favorite things to do is compare celebrities when they wear the same outfit, it’s like a fashion showdown! So for this post I am calling out Rosci from BET’s 106 & Park and Kim Kardashian. On Friday, both ladies wore a burgundy Bebe dress; Rosci as she sat down with Kanye West and Kim as she attended a party at Amnesia NYC. As you will see the dress is pretty simple and both of the women wore it in very different ways.

Rosci – the BET hostess kept it pretty simple, choosing to go with a pair of nude platform pumps, a few pieces of statement jewelry,  chicly tousled locks and non-fussy makeup.

Kim – While Kim’s hair and makeup approach are pretty similar to Rosci’s, the way she dressed up the dress couldn’t have been more different. Ms. Kardashian went with a FAUX fur vest over the burgundy dress and rocked a pair of leopard print booties; a stark contrast to Rosci’s barely there pumps/necklace combo.

As for who I think wore it better…it’s tricky; I think both celeb fashionistas look great! And while I like the simplicity of Rosci’s ensemble, I admire the fashion risk that Kim is taking by making her outfit kind of busy. If she lost the vest, this would definitely be a Kardashian win in my book because I LOVE those booties. However I am going to have to proclaim Rosci the winner of this fashion throw-down on the basis that Kim’s fur was a bit too much for my taste.

Congrats, Rosci! Sometimes less really is more.
