AKOO is the long-awaited menswear line from American rapper T.I..
AKOO stands for “A King of Oneself”.

T.I. has partnered with his Grand Hustle label and the RP55 Group for his debut apparel collection which includes tshirts, jackets, jeans and shirts with a sophisticated streetwear slant. It is available online and in stores.Clifford Joseph Harris Jr. is better known by his stage name T.I. He was known by his childhood nickname T.I.P. (pronounced “tip”) but after signing with Arista Records in 2001, he changed it to T.I. in order to minimize confusion with fellow labelmate Q-Tip.

T.I. is often called the “Jay-Z of the South” because of his wide range of successful endeavors, which include being a multi-platinum rapper, songwriter, producer, actor, philanthropist and co-CEO of Grand Hustle Records.

In 2006, T.I. received two Grammy Award nominations: Best Song Collaboration and Best Rap Solo Performance.

In January 2009, he’s scheduled to do a year long prison stint for illegal firearms possession.
