Year Launched: 2003
TV star and Trimspa diet spokeswoman Anna Nicole Smith's latest effort at self-promotion is a new line of clothing inspired by her own "Tex-sex" style paying homage to her Texas roots. Called "Anna Nicole," the collection will include jeans, T-shirts, tops and skirts. Smith collaborated with designers of Southern California-based apparel company Von Dutch to create the line.
This line appears to be discontinued.
Smith first gained popularity in Playboy, becoming the 1993 Playmate of the Year. She modeled for clothing companies, including Guess jeans. She starred in her own reality TV show, The Anna Nicole Show. A film biography of Smith's life is now in the works. The movie will document her rise from exotic dancer to her reality show/diet spokesmodel stardom (from her late teens until her February 2007 death at age 39). Willa Ford will star as Anna in the film.
