George Alan O'Dowd is a an English singer-songwriter and club DJ who was part of the English New Romantic movement which emerged in the early 1980s. In 1992, he had a hit with a version of the song "The Crying Game" (produced by the Pet Shop Boys. He has run his own fashion line for some years, namely "B-Rude". Boy George will be headlining this years RETROFEST to be held in Scotland August 2008. April 2008, The Biography Channel featured a documentary on the life of Boy George.
