The estate of Christopher “Big Pun” Rios has jump started a new clothing line in memory of the late Bronx rapper in hopes of generating funds for the family. The launch of Big Pun Clothing Line coincides with website BigPunShop.com where the clothing can be found exclusively. Presently, the line consists of several screen printed t-shirts more of which bear an airbrushed style.
Christopher Lee Rios, better known as Big Punisher or Big Pun, was an American rapper who emerged from the underground rap scene in The Bronx in the late 1990s. He was the first solo Latino rapper to sell over one million LPs. On February 7, 2000, Big Pun suffered a fatal heart attack and respiratory failure in a hotel, Crowne Plaza, in White Plains, New York.
