Brooklyn Mint by Notorious B.I.G

Year Launched: 1995

The Late Great Notorious B.I.G started a clothing line, Brooklyn Mint, in 1996, but he never got the opportunity to see his brainchild develop. Through the tireless commitment and vision of B.I.G.s mother Ms. Voletta Wallace and his managers Mark Pitts and WayneBarrow of Bystorm Entertainment, the Brooklyn Mint dream will finally be realized.

The Notorious B.I.G., was an American rapper, popularly known as Biggie Smalls (after a gangster in the 1975 film Lets Do It Again),Big Poppa, Frank White (from the film King of New York). Biggie was noted for his "loose, easy flow",dark semi-autobiographical lyrics and storytelling abilities. Since his death, a further two albums have been released. MTV ranked him at #3 on their list of The Greatest MCs of All Time.
