The Garnett shoe collection features both on-court (Performance) and off-court (Originals) shoes. KG’s on-court shoe, the “Garnett,” is a collaboration between Kevin Garnett and adidas basketball footwear designer Kyle Pulli. “This new line of kicks is the result of great teamwork between the team at adidas and myself,” stated Garnett. That teamwork has created the ‘Garnett,’ the best collection of shoes that I have ever worn on or off-court.”
Garnett is an American professional basketball player for the NBA’s Boston Celtics. He is regarded as one of the best all-around players in the NBA. He is also the all-time leader in NBA seasons played with averages of at least 20 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists per game. In November 2005, Garnett donated $1.2 million to Oprah’s Angel Network to help with Hurricane Katrina relief efforts. His nicknames include “The Big Ticket”, “KG”, “The Kid”, and formerly “The Franchise” (after being known as the Minnesota Timberwolves’ franchise player.
