Hippie Ink by Jennifer Ashley

Year Launched: 2003

Hippie Ink was started on a whim when Jennifer's friends admired her hand-painted T-shirts. Once strangers began stopping her on the street to ask where they could get a T-shirt like hers, she realized that she had a skill and a product that people wanted. Hippie Ink is now sold in over 1,000 stores across the country and has been worn by many celebrities including Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox and Eva Longoria.

Jennifer was first exposed to the fashion industry as a child when she visited her father at their family's coat factory, which produced high-end girl's coats. After working with the company seamstresses for several summers, she went on to study fabric design at Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science. Later, Jennifer studied to be an actress and appeared on television, national commercials and starred in over 20 feature films. She produced and hosted the hit cable show ASHLEY'S CLOSET which was rated cable televisions #1 talk show and was seen by over 3 million viewers since its inception.
