Rapper KANYE WEST has teamed up with his favourite designer LOUIS VUITTON to launch a mens footwear range. The Stronger star has been nicknamed the “Louis Vuitton Don” for his love of the high-end brand, and has even namechecked it in songs like Gold Digger.
And now West is designing a line of shoes, named Kanye for LV, for the fashion giant. The collection is due to be unveiled this autumn (08). West has also revealed plans for a women’s wear line later this year (08).
Kanye Omari West is an American rapper and record producer who already won nine Grammy Awards. He released his debut album (The College Dropout) in 2004, the second ( Late Registration)in 2005 and the third(Graduation) in 2007. On May 16, 2008, Kanye West was crowned by MTV as the year’s number 1 “Hottest MC In The Game.”
