Kelly Ripa will co-design a footwear and apparel collection to include active and lifestyle products and will serve as Ryka’s official spokesperson effective immediately. The initial line in fall ‘08 will feature a multisport shoe designed for running, crosstraining and studio workouts, plus several lifestyle shoes. Set to expand each season, the debut collection will also feature apparel with technical and modern design details.
Ripa is an American Daytime Emmy Award-winning actress, television personality and talk show host. Since February 2001, she has served as the co-host of Live with Regis and Kelly, along with Regis Philbin. In April 2007, Ripa hosted the 2007 TV Land Awards. Ripa won five Soap Opera Digest Awards for playing Hayley on All My Children in 1996, 1998 and 2000. She has been nominated for 8 Daytime Emmy Awards.
