B Rude clothing line designed by Boy George debuted in 2005 and is what the former lead singer of Culture Club called, his “vicious optimism” and “emotional rage” formed into fashion.
George Alan O’Dowd is a an English singer-songwriter and club DJ who was part of the English New Romantic movement which emerged in the early 1980s. In 1992, he had a hit with a version of the song “The Crying Game” (produced by the Pet Shop Boys. He has run his own fashion line for some years, namely “B-Rude”. Boy George will be headlining this years RETROFEST to be held in Scotland August 2008. April 2008, The Biography Channel featured a documentary on the life of Boy George.
