The collection draws its classic vintage inspiration from 1930’s college football documentaries. The inaugural collection, introduced fall 2008, consists of 70 pieces including sweaters, striped dress shirts, corduroy blazers, and high-waisted trousers. Andre 3000 sketched the clothes himself. Later he will be adding a denim line, made from salvaged Japanese fabrics, and a full women’s line offering.
Andre 3000, is an American rapper-singer, multi-instrumentalist, and actor, best known for his work in the group OutKast. He is a strict vegetarian. In 2004, alongside Alicia Silverstone, he was voted by PETA to be the “Worlds Sexiest Vegetarian Celebrity.” He also has a son with ex partner Erykah Badu.
