As part of his prize for winning Project Runway, Christian Siriano’s first collection for Bluefly is set to be available on the website on July 23rd, 2008.When the collection hit the online retail store, pieces flew out of stores with only a few styles in selected sizes left.
Siriano is an American fashion designer and the winner of the fourth season of American reality show Project Runway. Siriano is the youngest winner in the show’s history. In April 2008, he signed on to design a fifteen piece collection for Puma. In May 2008, Siriano designed virtual promwear for Gaia Online’s virtual prom. In August 2008 Siriano teamed up with two friends, Marta Abrams and Elise Rosemarin, founders of Moody Mamas maternity clothes, to create a collection called Fierce for Moody Mamas by Christian Siriano.
