Foxy Brown has inked a deal with Alexis & Gianni Enterprises to launch a line of furs this fall. The new line will have items under two brand names: Foxy Brown Luxury Furs, which will have retail prices ranging from about $500 to $9,000 per item, and the higher-end Marchand brand which will have retail prices ranging from $3,000 to $15,000 per item. Brown’s new fur collection, which has opened a Seventh Avenue showroom in New York, includes mink coats, chinchilla boleros and sable stoles.
Inga Fung Marchand, better known as Foxy Brown, is an American rapper known for her solo work as well as numerous collaborations with other artists, and her brief stint as part of hip-hop music group The Firm. Her fourth album was released in May 2008 following many delays spawned by a jail sentence that Brown served.
