In 2008, Chan, along with Andy Lau, Liu Huan and Emil Chau, performed the farewell song “Hard to Say Goodbye” at the 2008 Summer Olympics closing ceremony. He has stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and the Hong Kong Avenue of Stars.
