Meeschka is a boutique for both sexes. Not owned just by James Shaffer, it’s co-owned by Michelle Cohen and her daughter Sara Silverman. They have exclusive West Coast distribution for New York City based Exhibitionist Jewelry and cater to the high-end, artistic & funky customers who are not afraid to be themselves.
Shaffer is the guitarist for the nu metal band Korn. He also performed live backing vocals. His nickname, ‘Munky’, is apparently a reference to the fact that his feet, when spread, resembles monkey’s feet. He does have musical activities outside of Korn, though: he is the founder of Emotional Syphon Recordings. On March 4, 2008, it was announced that Munky will be releasing a solo record on August 8, 2008 with his solo band Fear and The Nervous System.
