Kim Gordon, a staple at designer Marc Jacobs’ fashion shows, started the line with friends Melinda Wansbrough and Jeffrey Monteiro. The inspiration is “clothes for cool moms.” The trio have one piece of clothing, a military-style wool jacket, up for sale at MirrorDash.com. and plan on adding more through the year. Dubbed the Hardy Jacket, after French songbird FranGordon is an American musician, vocalist, and artist. She sings, plays bass and guitar in the alternative rock band Sonic Youth. She also plays in the band Free Kitten with Julie Cafritz (of Pussy Galore). She is also an established visual artist and curator. Her work has been exhibited across the U.S., Japan and Europe. Kim also runs her own clothing company, X-Girl, in Los Angeles.
