LL Cool J launched a clothing line (also called Todd Smith). The initial concept of the brand seemed to focus toward towards the higher end of the market with a less expensive brand called “Todd Smith”. The aim of marketing for the clothes line is to be oriented towards the clothing rather than LL Cool J. It now seems that the brand has shifted to quality urban apparel. The clothes will feature personal elements of LL, from a tattoo embroidered on a jacket, to lyrics from his songs on a T-shirt.
Born January 14, 1968 as James Todd Smith, LL Cool J stands for “Ladies Love Cool James.” and is known for romantic ballads. is one of a few hip-hop stars of his era to sustain a successful recording career for more than two decades. He resides in Manhasset, NY with his wife and four children.
