She was spotted on a luxurious yacht in Los Angeles wearing a vintage costume that showed off Elizabeth Taylor’s stunning, lady-in-red look. The gorgeous star also donned a classy, leopard-print swimsuit that showed off her shapely figure.

The 25-year-old actress certainly wasn’t sluggish in the styling department in her effort to look like the late screen icon. Earlier today, she was seen wearing a red dress in a promotional picture for the movie, Liz and Dick. Judging by this official image for the film, it seems that the actress is the spitting image of the legendary star.

Lindsay dazzled in the photograph, which is a recreation of Taylor’s famous 1950s photo. She donned a similar, low-cut, scarlet cocktail dress, which was a favorite fashion piece of Elizabeth Taylor, and she also had the same white fur stole wrapped around her shoulders.

The pretty fashionista reportedly dyed her hair dark for the role. In the past few days, she has been spotted on set sporting a series of vintage-style outfits. For example, she was seen in a yellow, embroidered, maxi, kaftan-style dress and a floppy straw hat.

Salvador Perez, the movie’s costume designer, admitted that Lohan’s resemblance to Elizabeth is uncanny. In a recent interview with People Magazine, he stated:

“You’d swear it was Elizabeth. She just walked into the clothes and became Elizabeth Taylor.”

The costume department found vintage dresses very similar to the ones that Elizabeth used to wear. Now, when it came to Taylor’s famous large diamonds, including the gargantuan, 33-carat engagement ring that Burton gave her, the jewels were recreated.

“I was standing there last week for publicity shots and prep when Lindsay and Grant walked on set for the first time in full makeup and costume, and it took everyone’s breath away. It was like being on set with Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton. It was really a moment.”
