Spring Breakers, perhaps the year’s most-talked about movie, premiered in Los Angeles on Thursday. And the fashion did not disappoint. The red, er, pink carpet was alive with young-Hollywood fashion.

Veering away from the twenty-something Spring Breakers vibe, Selena Gomez channeled classic Hollywood glamour in a 1920s-inspired red Reem Acra  gown. She tastefully completed the look with a Jimmy Choo clutch. We’ve always been fans of Miss Gomez’s quiet sophisticated style, and with this crimson creation, she certainly didn’t disappoint.

If Selena’s style was sophisticated, her friend and co-star Vanessa Hudgens‘ was wild and a bit…strange. She completed the look with sparkly footwear and anklets. Too much going on, but the outfit worked, and the actress carried the ensemble well.

Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone graced the red carpet at the premiere of their new film, Gangster Squad, in Hollywood on Monday.

Ryan was handsome in his brown suit the color of what? Seems like mud or chocolate. The actor stood proudly with his mom, Donna, by his side, who he said was wearing girlfriend Eva Mendes‘ clothes. Donna, who donned a shimmery trench coat, confirmed:

“I’m wearing Eva Mendes…She let me raid her closet.”

Emma looked radiant in a red strapless Lanvin cocktail dress and red Christian Louboutin pumps. The bright color and the cut definitely suited her skin tone and honey blonde hair.

Emma’s necklace looked a bit on the heavy side, but it provided quite an interesting complement to the simplicity of the cocktail dress. What we loved was the sparkly floral brooch, which kept the outfit from looking bare at the waist. It was a sweet ensemble in general.

The sheer dress wasn’t exactly a knockout, but the uniqueness made up for whatever was lacking. Kristen Stewart, known for her signature grunge style, showed up at the New York premiere of her movie, On the Road, in a number that was torn between a mini dress and a bralet-and-shorts set.

The teal-colored outfit by Erdem featured a see-through, embellished front. At the back, it looked liked the regular mini dress. Kristen paired it with neon orange stilettos that made us think of candies.

It wasn’t the first time Kristen donned a scene-stealing sheer outfit. We loved her at the Governors Awards ball in that flowy, floor-length ensemble that featured a see-through lace bodice and plain black skirt.

At the On the Road premiere, the sullen actress strode in with a huge smile on her face. We think the outfit was just one way of saying “here’s to lightening up a bit.”

Oh, she’s ethereal. Amanda Seyfried ripped the red carpet at the New York premiere of her latest film, Les Misérables, which is based on the hit musical of the same name, which in turn, is based on the epic masterpiece by great French writer Victor Hugo.

Amanda rocked the perfect red-carpet look with her flowing ensemble. She wore a floor-length Alexander McQueen dress which featured a gold brocade bodice and a soft black skirt. Her blond hair was styled into a neat knotted bun. Very princessy charming.

She had been forced to leave little Cosette in the “care” of a family she met in a town inn, unaware that they were walking right into a trap and that their lives were going into a bleak downturn.

Anne Hathaway was a standout at the world premiere of Les Misérables, the big-screen version of the musical based on Victor Hugo’s epic masterpiece. She plays tragic heroine Fantine alongside an all-star cast.

The 30-year-old actress walked the red carpet with big-name co-stars like Hugh Jackman and Russell Crowe, but still managed to steal the spotlight in a gown unlike any other we have seen before.

Anne stunned in a white beaded creation by Givenchy. The asymmetrical draped sleeves provided a dramatic flare to the whole ensemble.  The beads gave sparkly details to the otherwise plain length of the gown. The backless cut was a different story, sassy and seductive. The actress finished off the chic and unique look with a pair of black stilettos.

Anne Hathaway chose a gown perfect for that unforgettable red-carpet moment.
