We’ve posted a leaked video about Vanessa and Angela Simmons when they were in a meeting a couple of weeks back.  Rumor has it that it was taken from the upcoming Daddy’s Girls season3.  Although MTV had confirmed that Daddy’s Girls is going to be back for its third season, there’s still no confirmation about the leaked video.  But this gets interesting, though, because today we found out another leaked video.  Check it out.

Well, something tells us that there’s more to just going back to New York and continue where they left off.  A video was leaked yesterday, showing the Simmons Sisters having fun at work.

Doesn’t this leaked video look curiously similar to a Daddy’s Girls episode?  We think so too.  Could this be a teaser for the upcoming season of Daddy’s Girls?  There’s no word on what this is about, but it sure looks like the Simmons Sisters are having fun wherever they are.  Do you think it’s in Los Angeles or back home in New York?  And those are some CUTE Pastry shoes!

The “Shoe-Han” collection will be available in time for Mother’s Day, 2010.  Dina will also be the national spokesmodel for the shoe retailer LoveMyShoes.com and you can expect to see her on TV and radio ads later this month.

DJ AM was a sneaker collector, owning over 700 pairs of kicks, and he was very excited about the Nike deal. Today TMZ reported that the DJ AM x Nike sneakers will not be hitting the markets any time soon, although the late dj has already signed an endorsement deal with the sports brand. The contract is reported to be put on hold after his death. Reps of Nike confirmed that DJ AM had been working with them for months to release a limited edition line of Nike Dunks emblazoned with his own logo.

The shoe designed was already approved by DJ AM, however Nike is postponing them due to the fact that the contract-related matters is still being determined by the company and DJ AM’s family.

Think the recession suck? So do we. And apparently, so do veteran Bronx emcee, Fat Joe. The rapper teams up with K-Mart and Sears to release an affordable sneaker line called Protégé “They Sick”. Apparently Fat Joe has much concerns about how to still look fly by being a smart fashionista. Joe told theshoegame.com:

“You know I own thousands of pairs of sneakers and I’m a huge collector. But I wanted my sneaker to be something the kids could actually afford. Due to these hard economic times, a lot of kids cannot afford $200 sneakers. So kids can buy them themselves. They don’t even have to worry about their mom or pops buying them for $34.99.”

Joe also discovered something shocking as he went into the manufacturing process of the shoes he brainstormed with NBA Knicks star, Al Harrington. He found that huge companies rake in huge profits by selling low-cost sneakers with extremely high prices.

“It’s unbelievable that you can pay $34.00 for this quality of a dope style sneaker. So when I sit down and see what the materials cost, I would have paid $150 for these. I’ve paid $10,000 for a pair of sneakers. But it really only took them $30 to make the sneaker.”

Fat Joe also plans to drop the Protégé Blackout sneaker on Black Friday. He’s hoping promotion activities will add the buzz for the kicks.

“The sneaker is selling crazy, but I really want to do more promotions. The only problem I got with the whole thing is that we can promote even better.”

Watch out Fat Joe’s 9th studio album: “Jealous Ones Still Envy 2″ (J.O.S.E. 2) which will drop on October 6, 2009, featuring Lil Wayne, Ron Browz, Akon, T-Pain, Lil Kim, Fabolous and Raekwon. Meanwhile, Fat Joe’s Protégé “They Sick” line is available now in K-Mart and Sears for a very reasonable $34.99.

We really do think celebrities should do more of this recession-friendly lines.  Hear that Yeezy?

Kanye Update!!

MediaTakeOut reported today that Kanye West is rumored to be in discussion with people from Nike to design a limited pair of Nike Air Jordan’s.  Although negotiations are just starting, insiders say that Kanye and Nike are excited about the project.

Earlier this year, Kanye West launched his designs for Nike: The Air Yeezys, in 3 colorways; the Zen Gray/Charcoal, The Black/Black and The Net/Net.  Each colorway launch was much anticipated by Yeezy fans because each colorway is only produced in very limited quantity.

Still in sneakerworld, Kanye West’s Louis Vuiton kicks have also been seen from one red carpet to another, worn by his fellow celebs.

Looks like the American Boy is serious in the kicks business.

Early Years

Posing in his Afro, Michael was already a stylish young man back in the seventies.  As he separates from The Jacksons Five to pursue his solo career, he started developing his own style.

After the release of “Off The Wall” in 1979, Michael Jackson ushered in the Thriller age.  The swagger was a signature jacket which he made famous from his music video along with the Thriller dance moves. PVC, faux leather and brilliant red were the key catchphrase when referring to the jackets.

Michael entered the “Bad” years and he polished his performances as well as his costumes, to add dramatic touches to his concerts.   Aside from the dramatic costumes, he introduced some attires that are easily associated with him in the future:  the fedora, the arm band and the loose white shirt.

Michael’s fascination with embellishments on his show attire peaked in the “Dangerous” years, as the album blown every chart in the world.  Probably a token of his success, Michael Jackson started to gleam and shine in his glory with many gold, military style, which he wore to lead legions of fans around the world to the top of his career.

In the mid towards the end of the 90s, Michael Jackson entered his “HiStory” years.  Michael Jackson embraced his softer look wearing mostly lightweight flowy shirts -even barechested, as well as keeping his trademark of army-look, only this time slightly in futuristic mode.  Note that mirror-glasses he made famous as well.

In his later years, Michael Jackson released his last album: “Invincible” and it turned out that the man kept on being a head-turner wherever he went and whatever he did.  Here are some of Michael’s best looks in his last years.

The world has lost an icon.  Not just in music, Michael Jackson managed to touch every single aspect of popular culture, including fashion.  Rest In Peace, MJ.  You’ll be greatly missed.
