TV personality, fashion designer and Project Runway champ, Christian Siriano, presented his Fall ’09 line at the New York Fashion Week.  We have to say that we’re really crazy about the colors.  Siriano brought bronze and blue together and they blend exquisitely well on the catwalk.

Great work, Christian.  We’re still waiting for the Payless shoe line to drop!

Project Runway winner, Christian Siriano, got tapped by Payless to release his own shoes and handbags line. We guess the recession have been in his attention too, and we’re glad to see the talented young designer is excited to lend his skills for Payless, the known retailer for affordable shoes.  Christian’s statement to the press says:

“I’m so excited to design and create with such an amazing brand that is all about fashion and trend, but most importantly, is also about affordability.  I can’t wait to see how Payless will take the high-end shoes and bags I’m designing for the runway and turn them into pieces that everyone can buy.  I’m all about the runway and the sidewalks!”

Christian’s Payless collection will be unveiled at the New York Fashion Week, February 2009, and will only exclusively available at Payless.com and Payless stores in fall ’09.  At $25-$45 price range, we think they won’t burn a hole in the pocket.

Speaking about designers for Payless, Christian isn’t the first celebrity-loved designer to be tapped by this retailer.  Sex and The City renowned stylist and designer, Patricia Field, has made her way into the Payless lineup of designers… and we found something that screams Patricia Field even when screamed from afar.  Check this out:

The Patricia Field Cha-Cha Fringe Boot is sooooo fabulous!  We think Siriano will have tight competition here!  Can’t wait ’til February!
