Each year, the Silver Rose Awards honor “those who make hope tangible” for victims of domestic violence and their families. A domestic violence survivor herself, Halle has been heavily involved with the Silver Rose Awards, and even chairs a namesake celebrity golf classic to fundraiser for the Jenesse Center, an intervention program. Because Halle is so proud of the strides she’s been able to make in the fight against familial violence, her star seems to shine brighter than usual at the annual Silver Rose Awards Gala. So we weren’t surprised to see her parade down the event’s red carpet in a fabulous and feminine pink Cavalli party dress.

Halle’s hunky boyfriend, Olivier Martinez, was her proud date for the night, and the two beamed as they took a PDA-filled stroll into the hotel for the festivities. Who could blame Olivier for only having eyes for Halle, who looked radiant in such a bright pop of pink?

Halle’s gorgeous tawny complexion looked amazing in the ruched frock, but you can easily wear a similar shade, even if you don’t have Halle’s shimmery décolletage. If you’re cooler toned, look for berry-based pinks that lean slightly purple for a similar look. If you’re warm-toned, look for colors like Halle’s, with a red-based slant. Complete your ensemble with a pair of silver sandals, and you’ll be as stylish as Halle all summer long!

The Pucci creation – which actually debuted on the runway last spring – was originally a solid yellow hue. Halle’s version for her big night, where she was nominated for Best Actress, featured a classic Pucci pattern and plenty of sexy cutouts throughout the bodice. Although we don’t normally advise piling on more than one bold trend, Halle’s combination somehow works. And it doesn’t hurt that the gown fits perfectly and flatters the star’s great body.

Halle’s one of the only stars in Hollywood who could pull off a tricky design like this one and make it look great. For her gritty role as a troubled woman battling multiple personalities in “Frankie and Alice,” for which she was nominated, Halle nailed her less-than-glamorous look in the film. It’s no wonder why she opted for such an over-the-top luxurious look for the NAACP Image Awards! Halle’s ensemble encompassed everything her character was not – confident, stylish, comfortable in her own skin – which is why the gown was such a perfect pick.

If you love the cutout look, it’s easy to pair with a busy pattern – like Halle did here. Just remember to keep the color palate pale and neutral, and you’ll have Halle’s star style without looking too overdone.

Let’s start with the iconic, gorgeous, scintillating Gwyneth Paltrow. She wore a column of silver designed by Michael Kors with a square neckline that featured a thin, modern, plunging dip. She paired her silver gown with gold leather pumps by Brian Atwood and jewels from the Louis Vuitton L’Ame du Voyage collection.

Next up is Michelle Williams who wore a white beaded Chanel Haute Couture gown and Harry Winston diamonds. The silhouette of this gown is similar in the body to that of Gwyneth’s — we see a trend emerging here — but had short sleeves and a completely covered decolletage. With nude lips and her perfect blonde pixie haircut, she looked magical.

Cate Blanchett also dressed in cloud scale for the event wearing a dress that could be called lavender but is a decided member of the white and ivory family. Accented with a round bodice of true lavender and gold beads, Cate looked as though she had been plucked out of a sunrise.

Before you go thinking that the cloud scale look belongs entirely to blondes, we want to tell you about Halle Berry who stole the show in silver, nude, and white Marchesa. With an organza and tulle train, Halle actually looked as if she was floating in a perfect, gorgeous cloud.

We are in love with this new palette of colors, which seems to be worn best with cool makeup tones and shimmering highlights. And we are also very excited about the fitted gown trend that was all the rage at the Oscars.

We absolutely love everything about Halle’s look. For starters, the vibrant raspberry hue positively pops against Halle’s gorgeous skin. The shade, somewhere between red and fuchsia, would look great on every skin tone, and is a great way to ease away from darker winter shades. If you love the color, look for pieces that have a slight berry-stained appearance. For Spring 2011, a similar shade is way more fresh and modern than basic red.
The cut of Halle’s Saab frock is perfection. In a sea of strapless red carpet looks, we always love when stars rock sleeves. The gorgeous Halle Berry already has two signature fragrances. One is Halle by Halle Berry. The other is Pure Orchid by Halle Berry. Reports about the new fragrance, which is to be called Reveal by Halle Berry, indicate that this fragrance is meant to build upon the great successes of the other two perfumes. This new fragrance includes notes of vetiver and plumeria as well as peach. It also includes the scent of mimosa, which is Halle Berry’s favorite flower. “Reveal has a perfect balance,” Ms. Berry has said.”Light and fresh, it becomes sexier and more mysterious as you wear it.”

The tagline of the new perfume will be “Reveal something…not everything.” This text appears in ads that are already appearing for the new fragrance. In a press release about the perfume, Halle was quoted as saying “Reveal is an invitation for women to share their story, to reveal some parts of themselves that they have not yet expressed.” According to reports about the new perfume, it will be available straight away in the month of February. Furthermore, the perfume will be very affordable, so it will be available to a large market of perfume buyers. For just $17, Halle Berry fans will be able to purchase half an ounce of her new perfume.

The nude manicure has always been a timeless accessory. Like a little black dress, sheer pink and beige lacquer will never go out of style.
