Jennifer Aniston at the London Premiere of Horrible Bosses
Now that Horrible Bosses has been in American theaters for a few weeks, it’s about time the U.K. got in on the hilarious action. And at the London premiere of the smash hit, sexually-charged comedy, star Jennifer Aniston shocked all her critics by opting out of her usual little black dress uniform. We were surprised to see her step onto the blue premiere carpet at London’s BFI Southbank on Wednesday, July 20th wearing an embellished dove gray look, straight off Valentino’s Fall 2011 Couture runway. Since Jen wears black so often, we barely recognize her in anything else but the moody hue. After seeing how positively radiant she looks in this particularly pale color, we’re hoping she’ll ditch the LBDs for a while, at least until summer’s over. Keep reading for more details about Jen’s opulent couture frock, and learn how to mimic her posh hair and makeup, even if Valentino’s slightly out of your clothing budget.

In true star style, Jen accessorized her amazing Valentino frock with luxe satin peep toe pumps by Tom Ford. Normally, we think white satin shoes should be reserved for brides, but Jen makes the ankle strap style look elegant and chic, especially in the summer heat.
We think the halter-style high neckline and braided, cinched waist detail are perfection on Jen’s flawless figure, and the sparkly, embellished gray hue is the perfect shade for her tan complexion. If you’re like Jen, and have a closet dominated by black clothes, try easing into summer color with a simple and flattering neutral like beige, taupe, or Jen’s amazing dove gray. Pale hues are a great way to transition a predominately black wardrobe into an airier, more summer-appropriate one.

Jen’s designer dress and shoes are amazing, but we’re equally smitten with her lightened-up makeup. Jen normally opts for gold-laced shades of warm mauve and bronze, but on this occasion, she opted for a frostier eye and lip look. Recreating a similarly cool look at home is simple with the right products. Use a light touch with a silvery blue or lavender shadow, and finish your look with a pale pink lip gloss flecked with sparkle for a star-approved, budget beauty routine!

Even though her finalist and protégé, Beverly McClellan, didn’t take home top prize at the live finale show, Christina didn’t let that stop her from beaming with pride for her newly discovered music sensation. She performed alongside her student on stage, and looked radiant, with a wrist full of diamond-encrusted bangles and a statement cocktail ring on each hand.
