We admit that the center of attention in every New York Fashion Week moment is the gorgeous models that are poised to represent different designer items. With their toned physique and stunning faces, high-fashion models sashay down the runway and leave the audience in awe.

 However, there are also some instances wherein pretty actresses steal the show.

Enter Jessica Alba. The lovely actress outshined the catwalk models at Michael Kors’ parade at New York Fashion Week. She looked incredibly gorgeous as she took her seat in the front row alongside Cash Warren, her husband.

Jessica stole the limelight by wearing a teal Michael Kors dress with leather and cut-out detailing. She paired it with black tights and a standout clutch. She elegantly swept her hair to a neat bun, and emphasized her ultra glamorous look with lashings of red lipstick. She finished off the chic attire with a pair of super-high heels.

A lot of other famous faces also turned out to see the popular designer’s latest show. These celebrities include Debra Messing, Patti Hansen, Stacy Keibler, Katie Couric, Paula Patton and Vogue editor Anna Wintour.

Jessica also sat beside Amber Heard, one of the actresses in “Rum Diary.” The 25-year-old beauty wore a classic white shift dress with a black-and-white patterned belt. The two actresses chatted away before the show started. At one point, onlookers also saw Jessica proudly showing pictures of her daughters Honor, three, and six-month-old Haven.

On the catwalk, Kors showcased designs that featured big fur, knits and tweeds. It seemed to be a great day for the designer, who is also famous for being a judge on the hit reality show Project Runway.

The eight-day exhibit, which runs until January 28, will show off Chanel’s history. During the opening night, many fashion icons attended the glamorous event, including Rachel Zoe. Unfortunately, the exhibition is not open to the public. It can only be viewed by invitation. The exhibit features ten spaces, one of which will be a replica of Coco Chanel’s apartment at 31 Rue Cambon in France. There is also, a children’s room with dolls designed by Karl Lagerfeld. To mark the occasion, Chanel chartered a fleet of private jets to shuttle socialites, celebrities and, perhaps most importantly, clients to Las Vegas for a weekend of fun and spectacle.

Recently, she explained her motivation to set up the business. She said, “When I was pregnant three-and-a-half years ago with my daughter, Honor, I started researching how to have a safe home.” She added, “I was shocked to learn how many dangerous chemicals were in the products I used, including many I had assumed were safe.”
