Called I Fancy You, Jess’s new scent is the fourth and final fragrance in her super popular lineup, and she intended for it to evoke feelings of falling into a deep, lasting love. She says, “This floral scent is romantic and feminine and conjures up the feelings of a first love that makes you realize that love can last forever.” We love the romantic sentiment, but whether or not this fragrance delivers on its frothy, sweet claims remains to be seen.

But in all of our gushing over Jess, we almost forgot about her stylish sis, Ashlee, who captivated fans back in 2005 with mega hits like “Shadow” and “Pieces of Me.” Fortunately for lovers of fashion, the two gorgeous siblings are finally teaming up on a new fashion venture, which is slated to hit stores this fall.

The collaborative line will be an extension of the Jessica Simpson Collection brand, but will focus on tweens and teens. Jess and Ash will serve as co-creative directors on the project, and this marks their very first collaboration on a fashion line. Whether the collection will have a separate name separating it from Jessica’s mainstream label is still unknown, but one thing is for sure – both women are excited to finally be working together. In fact, they are voraciously defending their new gig, even in the face of particularly mean industry insiders who are claiming Ashlee just wants a piece of the “Jessica Simpson Collection pie.” Maybe we’re biased, but we love the stylish sisters, and agree with Jess when she told Women’s Wear Daily, “I’m excited to bring my sister, Ashlee, along as co-creative director of this division, because she brings a savvy rocker edge that defines today’s tweens.”

The tween line of apparel and accessories is slated to include everything from sportswear and active wear, to denim and shrunken knits, all laced with the Simpson sisters’ signature stylish edge. We’re no tweens, but we’re actually interested in checking out the finished products when they hit department stores in a few months. What about you?

You know how much we adore Jessica Simpson around here. We can’t stop talking about her drool worthy line of shoes, denim, swimsuits and fragrance. The biggest fashion travesty of Simpson’s look here is that each individual piece is not inherently gaudy. In fact, we’re loving each accessory on its own. The oversized leopard tote is totally versatile, but unfortunately looks like overkill on Jess. Her studded wedge boots would look fierce with a sleek, monochromatic style – but the addition of studs to an already overly accessorized outfit just makes matters worse.

If you’re interested in trying a bold trend like animal print or faux fur, the key is to keep the rest of your ensemble simple. Let your one trendy piece shine – and don’t add anything that will compete with your fashionable piece de resistance. Keep that in mind, and escape a Simpson-esque fashion disaster. And Jessica, consider this as your first warning. We’ll expect more from you in the future.

The actress/singer is a living proof of how somebody often undermined and criticized even in her personal life (remember her ex, John Mayer who went all negative about their sex life on Playboy) can actually have the public’s positive opinion and succeeds on her ventures.

The year 2010 is a good year for Jessica Simpson indeed. She has a new sportswear line coming up, Eric Johnson as a fiance, a new greatest-hits album compilation “Playlist: The Very Best of Jessica Simpson” and a Christmas album “Happy Christmas” and an active online life… what more could a girl ask for?

Pop princess turned successful fashion entrepreneur, Jessica Simpson made an in-store appearance at a Dillard’s in Friendswood, TX to help promote her line.

However, Jess bounced back and kickstarting 2010, the singer/reality star/fashion designer made a huge breakthrough when she posed for Marie Claire magazine sans make up.  The singer stated:

“I don’t have anything to prove anymore. What other people think of me is not my business.”

This bold statement backs her upcoming gig as the reality star for the show “Price of Beauty”.  In this reality show, Jessica Simpson will globe-trot, talking to women about the things they’d do for beauty.
