If we’re talking which celebrity gets the most bullet on her appearance, then Jessica Simpson would most probably make the cut.  The girl has been through a lot of fashion faux-pas -at least according to fashion critics- and didn’t manage to dodge the major bullet shot at her when she wore that god-awful mommy jeans a while back.

However, Jess bounced back and kickstarting 2010, the singer/reality star/fashion designer made a huge breakthrough when she posed for Marie Claire magazine sans make up.  The singer stated:

“I don’t have anything to prove anymore. What other people think of me is not my business.”

This bold statement backs her upcoming gig as the reality star for the show “Price of Beauty”.  In this reality show, Jessica Simpson will globe-trot, talking to women about the things they’d do for beauty. She will even investigate and participat in some of the dietary fads, beauty regimens and apparel. Jessica is excited about the show and she stated:

“When [I was approached] for a show about true beauty, I was immediately intrigued. I have always believed that beauty comes from within and confidence will always make a woman beautiful, but I know how much pressure some women put on themselves to look perfect. I am really looking forward to discovering how beauty is perceived in different cultures and participating in some of the crazy things people do to feel beautiful. I know we will all learn a lot on this journey.”

We don’t see any weight issues.  Jessica Simpson looks great as always.  What we’ve seen is her shoe line and clothing line. We even wear her perfume and make up, but the celebrity designer is not slowing down or giving up to the recession like others do.  Although she already has a handbag line, Jessica sets out to launch her luggage line. Helped out by mom, Tina, Jessica partnered up with Olivet, which will produce a full line of luggage, travel bags and business cases made from leather, canvas and nylon under the “Jessica Simpson Collection” label.  The pop singer, who’s now into country, is excited to work with mom.

“I’m so blessed to have so many ways to express myself.  The ability to sit with my mom and find patterns, to go vintage shopping and create dresses – that’s a mother and daughter’s dream.  We’re talking luggage and bedding now.”

The collection is said to hit the stores by fall 2009.  But brace yourselves for something else.  Jessica Simpson has a bedding and sleepwear line brewing too. Whoa.  This girl has been burning the midnight oil and clearly she’s doing a great job!
