Jordin Sparks was catapulted to stardom after she won the sixth season of American Idol. Following the release of her self-titled debut album in 2007, she became even more popular among music lovers across the globe. From then on, a lot of girls followed her style and passion on music.

Now that Miss Sparks is enjoying her career in the music world, several fashion watchers noticed her impressive style transformation. It is not new to us that the singer had shown a fuller figure and drab-looking ensembles in the early days of her career. But in recent days, the pretty performer flaunted her shapely figure and fabulous style with aplomb.

At the recent event “Winter in Venice Festival” at the Venetian Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, the 21-year-old singer showcased a slender silhouette sporting a body-hugging frock that clung to her curves. As the singing sensation kicked off the holiday season at the Venetian Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, she upped the glamour by wearing a little black dress. She paired the stylish LBD with a pair of white towering heels. The highlight of her stunning look is her up-to-date hairstyle with curly tresses cascading on her shoulders.

As Jordin performed four songs and cheerfully walked in the “white carpet,” she sparked the festive mood in the occasion. She also tweeted to her one million followers, stating, “I had a great time 2night kicking off #winterinvenice! Thank you @PalazzoLasVegas & @venetianvegas! Its gorgeous! Holidays are here!”

These days, the “No Air” singer appears to have similarities with fellow artist Jennifer Hudson. Both girls had shown shapely figures lately. They’re also sharing opportunities in appearing as stars in biopic films. Jordin will star in Sparkle, a tale which is inspired by a US sixties girl group.

A new celebrity designer is born.  American Idol winner, Jordin Sparks, just signed on a deal with one of the coolest brands out there: Wet Seal. The line which is (of course) named Sparks, will debut with holiday dresses and will be available by Thanksgiving. There will also be a selection of casual wear and accessories in the future.

Why release so close to the holidays?  “I am so excited that Wet Seal and I have been able to create a line of clothing that will appeal to more girls than ever before! The holiday season is my favorite time of year, and I can’t wait to see girls look cute, feel good and celebrate in style!” -exclaimed Jordin in her released statement.  Wet Seal’s people feels good about this collaboration, as conveyed by Ed Thomas, Wet Seal’s CEO:  “Jordin is a great role model for the young girls that shop Wet Seal. Not only does she have a youthful, yet refined, fashion sense, she has not lost sight of who she is through her rise to stardom”.

Looks like everybody loves Jordin, and that includes us because when a curvy girl designs clothes, they would come in various sizes.  And since the line is intended for a younger audience, we’re very happy to say that they are very affordable, but still very chic!
