Okay designers, why do you do things like this to our favorite stars.  Honestly what is it.  Poor thing, Katie looks as if even she doesn’t like it.  Well at least the pumps are gorgeous.

After a lot of weird news featuring celebs who are way FAR from the ’stylish’ word, finally the celebrity clothing line world can breathe again.  One of the most stylish celebrity that kept the paparazzis busy for most of the year 2008, Katie Holmes, has decided to launch her own clothing line that will make its debut this fall in the US.

The mother of Suri Cruise teamed up with her stylist, Jeanne Yang, to create a premium women’s line and childrenswear for Maxfield stores.  It’s only natural for Katie to gather inspirations from her cute daughter, as Suri has been growing up under the watchful eyes of fans… and amazingly never had a fashion mistake.

So yes, we’re curious to see what Katie Holmes will come up with.  Stay tuned for more!

This is why we LOVE high fashion.  You never know the goody-two-shoes can look like a fierce madame if she work it.  And Katie brought it home.  Seriously.  Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott did a great job in capturing Katie’s newfound look.  Katie isn’t the first celebrity to be tapped by Miu Miu to do their campaign.  Before her, there are Kirsten Dunst, Lindsay Lohan, Chloe Sevigny and Drew Barrymore.

Katie Holmes might have pledged her undying love to Tom Cruise, but she made the ‘boyfriend jean’ popular.  When we first saw this trend, we’re unsure how we’re gonna categorize it.  But seeing that it’s still hot (and getting hotter) after only three months these loose jeans made its debut, we made up our minds and today we ditch our leggings and skinny jeans!  We have just the right pair of jeans for you and it’s from the Cruises’ family friend: Victoria Beckham.  Her dVb label just released this DVB Boyfriend Jean.

We wouldn’t wear ‘em with heels, though.  We’ll go flats, Katie Holmes style.  Viva boyfriend jeans!
