The 32-year old actress has been very busy promoting her new film Don’t Be Afraid Of the Dark but that hasn’t stopped her from staying trendy. She was recently seen in the ‘porange’ style, a purple and orange combination style popularized by the likes of Nicole Scherzinger and Kim Kardashian. However, instead of wearing a purple top she put her own twist to the style with a light wash denim shirt.
Okay, fine, the whole ensemble isn’t completely on the mark as far as the porange style goes, but Katie seemed to be completely comfortable choosing her own mix of colors, at least for a day out in downtown Los Angeles. She was spotted in Beverly Hills yesterday, wearing orange skinny jeans as she got her caffeine fix at Urth Café, shortly before heading to a meeting.
In recent weeks, Katie has drawn a lot of attention because of her slimmed down figure. Friends of the former Dawson’s Creek star noted curiously that she had been getting pretty skinny, and have suggested she gain some weight. “She was so gaunt,” a friend informed OK Magazine.
Revealing her rigid dieting plan, the source said: “Because of the sugar content, she tries not to eat fruit; if she does, she usually sticks to berries, because they have the lowest glycemic index. On a typical dieting day, ‘she’ll have carrot soup and a yam for lunch and broccoli for dinner, and she’ll keep a handful of raw almonds for a snack,’ says the source, who adds that the diet is extreme.” The source added: “When she wants to slim down for a role, she eats only unprocessed raw vegetables.”
