So we learned our lesson:  never trust anything you hear from questionable sources.  Remember this news?  Well, some parts of it is true, but the picture… we hereby confirm that it was really a photoshopped pic.  Why can we confirm that?  Because we found the real pictures of Madonna’s upcoming Louis Vuitton ad. Here they are.

Yes, this is what we call a pro’s work and it should’ve been a pro because the ad was shot by Steven Meisel.  It was shot in the Figaro restaurant, on North Vermont Avenue in Los Angeles, to catch the smoky French bistro setting.

Marc Jacobs’ statement about the images: “I still feel it looks like beautiful, gorgeous Madonna.  Excepting the references and excepting the clichés, this still feels very today.  And it didn’t feel so much like a fashion shoot, it feels like portraits.”

The campaign would appear in February and March.  In tandem, Vuitton will continue to run its “Core Values” campaign, with spots featuring Sean Connery, until next year.

Well at least now we know how gorgeous it will look!

Nah… we’re not talking about this ad, silly.

After her 2005 Spring Versace ad (wow, that’s a LONG time ago), Madonna is heard to have shot a new high-fashion ad for Louis Vuitton.  Yes, we heard she kicked Eva Herzigova to the curb, and won the title of the newest LV face for the spring campaign.  The Spring Louis Vuitton ad is rumored to have already been shot by photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott.

Anybody knows whether this rumor is true?
