The Metropolitan Museum’s Costume Institute Gala in New York is a hot spot of choice for any A-lister. The worlds of Hollywood, fashion, film, and art collided at this year’s Met Ball, and it was quite the throw-down with the most unique star on the red carpet being Kristen Stewart.
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn actress made her red carpet appearance in a dress from the Fall 2012 collection of Balenciaga. She arrived at the Metropolitan Museum of Art accompanied by Nicolas Ghesquiere, Balenciaga’s head designer.
Arriving amid the red carpet crush and screaming press, Kristen Stewart fiercely rocked her dress at her third Met Gala appearance. The design featured a mid-length skirt with red, black, and blue leather panels and a black and silver embellished bodice. Her standout white-laced pumps were also by Balenciaga.
As the newest face of the fashion house’s fragrance line, the actress represented the brand wearing a look from their Fall 2012 collection. Some Kristen Stewart fans traveled from all over the world to get a glimpse of her, and online reactions suggest most were delighted by her ensemble.
