Benjamin Bixby’s Canada Invasion
Contrary to the last news we heard about Andre 3000’s clothing line, Benjamin Bixby, the high-end luxury fashion line appeared to be expanding instead of downsizing. Andre Benjamin visited Holt Renfrew Bloor Street, to launch Benjamin Bixby menswear Spring 2009 collection on Tuesday. The line will be carried by the Toronto-based store.
Andre Benjamin said that his Benjamin Bixby clothing line is not necessarily troubled, but is currently “surviving”. About the same time last year, Andre said if his clothing line succeeds, he’ll leave Atlanta and will start living in the Big Apple. But we’re guessing he’s somewhere in between, right now, or maybe even reconsidering New York for Toronto. Aside from all the financial trouble stuff, we have to say that we actually love Benjamin Bixby’s preppy, late 1930’s look. Here are some of Benjamin Bixby’s Spring / Summer 2009 collection.
