Common Designs For Microsoft’s “Softwear”
Sounds weird at first, but really, Common the rapper is now one of the hottest names in the Information and Technology world. Well he’s still a rapper and not turning into a programmer or anything, Common just turned into a celebrity designer and launched a t-shirt collection for Microsoft, with a witty title: Softwear. Check out his performance at the launch party last week in New York:

So the thing is, competition has always been fierce between Microsoft and Apple. And when Microsoft thinks they have to target a younger and hipper demographic, they did this collaboration with Common. And we think, geek or not geek, cool guys everywhere will love the designs. We think they’re ok, though.

Honestly, people who are geeks, don't want to dress like a geek, and people who dress like geeks will never accept microsoft as the hip cool clothing designer they want to wear, the reason is, to be wearing the clothes you have to want to support microsoft, who most people consider a necessary evil, not a in-style trend setting company.
