Kim Kardashian and her famous-for-being-famous sisters are launching their own clothing line after being the official buyers for the Dash boutique for some years. Kourtney Kardashian talks about launching her line in Ok Magazine and when asked to describe her style Kourtney remarked “I love mixing things, just stuff that I have in my closet. When you put things together, I think it always looks more stylish.”. Surprising the critics, their Dash Boutique is doing more than just okay, and the Kardashians keep on expanding Dash from east to west.

While Kourtney plays the active role of managing Dash on a daily basis with Khloe, Kim has taken on the role of Public and Media Relations. Originating in 2006 in the Kardashians’ hometown in Calabasas, CA, Dash opened its second branch in Miami in 2009. The boutique appeared as the center of their activities on their spinoff show: “Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami”. The opening was temporarily derailed by vandals, as the newly-built Dash Miami boutique was defaced by grafitti. Kourtney Kardashian explained in her blog:
“All of the graffiti on the wall was gang-related and there were carvings in the glass. All in all, the damage is pretty bad, but they’re painting over it now! We want to make it clear that no one was targeting the store or Kim, Khloe and myself, specifically. The location of the store has remained a secret since we started filming, so there’s no way whoever graffiti’d the store front knew it was Dash. They were just defacing buildings in the area.”
Despite the defacing incident, Dash Miami continues to perform and has now become one of the more popular go-to shopping destinations in the city. Dash sells tons of clothing and accessories from a variety of celebrity brands. The hottest among the boutique’s offerings include Whitney Eve, Abbey Dawn, Miley Cyrus, La Rok, Mason, Naven and D’Amore, as well as swimwear from Beach Bunny, Vix and local label Alexis.
Quick Dash fact: Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian hired their Miami Dash employees (or better known as “Dash Dolls”) through an audition. The ad on Craiglist said:
“Looking for On-Camera Employees for Dash Miami Store: a local Miami girl with a flair for fashion to work on-camera as a “Dash Doll” at the Kardashian sisters’ Dash boutique on Washington Avenue in South Beach”
The boutique is also developing its menswear collection and the recent buzz around the entertainment world is that the boutique will open another branch in New York.

I have spoken to many people who have visited the Dash in Miami and I was told the inventory was low and the store was a disappointment. I then took a trip to the store myself, not wanting to believe the rumors. To my dismay, my friends were right. Its just a non inspiring store. Please work on it cause I would love to support your endeavor.

I head the same as Elsie regarding the store been a disapointment, i was told the quality of the clothing was quite poor, over priced and again very small selection of clothing, we love you guys but you need to do something if you want to make a success of your store like your success with the media

I agree with you guys ( donna & mark ). Scott is not a good guy for kourthey, He is making the show an ugly one, the attitude that he is doing to other people especially to the waiter. O my God! I cant believe it . My kids told me, mom what a stupid guy he is? He should be respectful to the waiter because the waiter is doing his job. and my kids told me, maybe mom he is doing that because the waiter is poor and he is rich, but I think mom the rich is aunt kourthey not uncle scott. My kids are 9 and 6 years old. My kids love the show.
i have 2 kids and honestly we only see what producers want us to see, i agree that scott has acted bad on some occasions but really at other times it is really obvious that he loves Kourt and now baby boy mason. Nobody is perfect, leave him alone he isn't that bad i'm sure everyone has acted badly at some point its just not aired to the world to see it, i wouldn't wish for my kids to grow up in a broken family, don't wish that for Mason he deserves every bit of happiness with both parents together especially if thats what Kourtney and Scott want. I realize you don't know me, my name is Debbie Bixler and I'm from Pittsburgh. I had been planning for two month to go to South beach Miami to shop at Dash. Spoke with Danielle in Feburary, very pleasant and nice on the phone, I spent maybe 15 minutes on the phone with her answering questions. She never once made me feel like I had to rush off the phone, she was very polite and sweet. Unfortunatly I never made it I had surgery. but I'll be down this summer
