House of Dereon and Dereon Juniors by Beyonce and Solange Knowles
House of Dereon was inspired by Beyonce’s grandmother Agnèz Deréon. The prices are in the better to moderate range and the designs are reminiscent of the 40′, 70’s and todays style all in one. Beyonce wanted to bring elements from each era (Grandmother, mother, today) into the design mix and to create a classic timeless brand. House of Dereon has been featured on every talk show from Oprah to new talk show host Tyra Banks. Most pieces are for the 25-40+ market.
Sister Solange decided to join the business and direct the juniors line just simply Dereon. Dereon is the younger sister of House of Dereon and the pieces reflect it with most reminiscent of the younger crowd with t-shirts, hoodies, jeans, and sweatpants…everyday casual wear.
