Finally something huge happening with Glee’s very own Rachel Berry! Not Rachel, actually, we mean the beautiful Lea Michele, who has certainly made an impression on the execs at the French beauty company, L’Oréal. Lea follows in the footsteps of Jennifer Lopez, Eva Longoria, and Beyoncé as the company’s newest spokesperson.
And guess what, we hear Lea will get $1 million from this gig! This is indeed a sweet deal because she wasn’t always happy about her facial features. She told Allure once:
“When I was 15 . . . a manager said, ‘You have to get a nose job in order for me to work with you.’ My mother would say to me, ‘Barbra Streisand never got a nose job. You’re not getting a nose job.’”
Well, Lea should be glad she didn’t get a nose job now that L’Oréal is in love with her. As for wearing make-up, she has been at it beginning at a very early age.
“Growing up on stage, I was introduced to makeup at a young age and I will never forget the first time I tried on a L’Oréal Paris iconic lipstick. It was instant glamour, and I’ve been hooked ever since.”
As a loyal L’Oréal wearer, Lea is very excited about being the brand’s new face as she told PEOPLE magazine:
“I’m overjoyed and beyond honored to be a part of the L’Oréal Paris family. I’m such a fan of L’Oréal Paris not just for all of their amazing products, but for what they stand for. Lea and L’Oréal will kick off their partnership through print and television ads in early 2013.
