Keri Hilson: The Freshest Face For Avon

Keri Hilson fans, now it’s time to see your idol as the face of Avon Products. The celebrity-friendly cosmetic brand adds the two-time Grammy nominee as its newest face and we couldn’t be happier seeing Keri’s fresh face on Avon’s campaigns. Keri is replacing Jennifer Hudson, who was signed in 2007.

Lily DeStefano, executive director of Avon North America beauty stated:

“We had a great partnership with Jennifer Hudson, and we found that so powerful that, in the same spirit, we wanted to take it a step further. Keri just brings a youth and vitality to our brand. I think that she’s just the perfect transition. We are looking to bring in a younger, fresher target, also a more diverse audience as well.”

This is the first brand endorsement for Keri Hilson, and she put a lot of thoughts prior to signing the deal. Keri stated:

“I’m really careful. I don’t want to be affiliated with too many brands. It’s got to make sense, and it makes sense [with Avon.] I love fragrance. I love beauty. I love to teach women that they should feel confident and feel good about themselves for themselves.”

Our girl Keri is not only busy with her new Avon deal, she’s also brewing new stuff in the studio with Polow da Don and Timbaland to complete her second album scheduled to drop later this year. We wish her the very best and we think this is a lucrative deal, seeing that Avon has collaborated with many celebrities before her, such as Patrick Dempsey, Reese Witherspoon, Zoe Saldana, Courteney Cox and Fergie.
