It looks like Ivanka Trump’s fashion empire is growing by the minute. The businesswoman/socialite is introducing her sunglasses collection, which she produces with eyewear giant B. Robinson. The line is scheduled to launch in the spring of 2013. It will be the newest addition to her current apparel, footwear, jewelry, and handbag lines.
Trump always wants to dress herself entirely in her own line. She told WWD:
“I joke with my husband that there’s no present anyone can buy me because I’m dressed head to toe in Ivanka Trump.”
She also told WWD that a children’s line and more are waiting to be developed and, ultimately, launched.
“I make sure that each of the categories is part of the larger brand to create a cohesiveness.”
The sunglasses collection uses crystal, coral, opal, and other semiprecious stones in the frames, resulting in mid-level prices that range from $68 to $126. A more upscale line is also available that ranges from $150 to $175. That line uses more stones and features intricate hardware with designs that complement Trump’s existing bag and footwear collections.
