Christian Siriano’s Maternal Side
The fierce dude from Project Runway is teaming up with the belles of Moody Mamas to design a line of maternity wear. We didn’t see that coming, especially after his pricey collection at Bluefly. But hey, it’s good news for future mamas out there, because it’s going to be named “Fierce“. Kinda obvious; you’ll know it’s gonna be Siriano’s without even looking at the tag. We took a sneak peek on the early sketch.
MoodyMamas says Siriano’s touch will add color and sass to the already elegant MoodyMamas style. It’s said to consist of tummy-flattering babydolls with flowy materials to show off the baby bump stylishly. For hip mama-to-be’s only, the collection will be launched in Spring 2009. That explains the flowery pattern, which was super hot for this past spring. Last but not least, as much as we love the idea of it, we hope the wedges are not compulsory!
