Christie Brinkley is so iconic, her name has become synonymous with agelessness. At 57, the supermodel mom has been enjoying a major career resurgence, starring in Chicago on Broadway and making the red carpet rounds to promote her stage debut. We can’t figure out how she stays so young, and we’re chomping at the bit to know how she manages to give women one-third her age a run for their money. But now, it looks like we might finally know her ageless skin secrets, because the blonde beauty recently announced her plans to launch her very own namesake skincare line, and we got our well-manicured paws on all the juicy details! Simply called Christie Brinkley Skin Care, her line is slated to launch in Summer 2012, and is rumored to incorporate everything from daytime products to awaken your skin, to nighttime creams to calm, heal and repair damage. Maybe it’s the product junkie within us, but we can’t wait to check out this particular celebrity project and see if Christie Brinkley Skin Care delivers on its promises.
A legend in the fashion industry, we have a feeling Christie knows a thing or two about caring for your skin. A fixture on the cover of Glamour and Sports Illustrated, she’s represented clothing lines from Halston to Gottex swimwear, and just about every cosmetics company in existence. If we trust any celebrity to know the best anti-aging secrets, it’s Christie Brinkley, so we’re eagerly awaiting next summer!
In a statement on her personal website, Christie says that her skincare brand is, “Not just another celebrity-endorsed line. I founded the company and have taken great time to bring together the beauty secrets that I personally believe have helped me maintain my youthful appearance throughout the decades.”
