Daddy Yankee To Launch Fragrance Line
The perfume-launching craze doesn’t just appeal to ladies, apparently. Latino rapper, Ramón Ayala, a.k.a. Daddy Yankee is tapped by Falic Fashion Group to release a fragrance line for men. After his *err… successful?* Daddy Yankee footwear, accessories and apparel Reebok Line, we think it’s his yet another attempt to break into the fashion world.
WWD.com reports that the scent is described as a “fruity marine fougére and features an opening accord of ozonic mist, apple and ginger, a heart of basil, sage and cedar, and base notes of Brazilian red wood, suede and amber”. It will be available in 1.7 and 3.4-oz eau de toilette each priced at $39 and $49. There will also be a deodorant for only $14. Look out for the Dark blue charcoal packaging with a “DY” dog tag.
The Daddy Yankee perfume will be available at Macy’s on early 2009 nationwide, also Puerto Rico, Central and South America.
We seriously don’t know what to expect from this homie. Hope it’s good, though!
