As if life couldn’t be dramatic enough for Rachel Zoe who has been attacked by the media for a whole host of issues, many of which have to do with weight, and supposedly betrayed by longtime assistant Taylor Jacobson, now comes news that the celebrity stylist is pregnant. She recently confirmed via Twitter that she and her husband Rodger are expecting a baby boy. Many sources say that the stylist is about five months pregnant.
There are a few speculations as to how Zoe will dress as the baby bump grows. There are, of course, also mad speculations as to how the little man will be dressed. Luckily, a few of Zoe’s favorite designers do offer fashion for kids. Michael Kors, for example, designs shoes for children. Stella McCartney has also recently come out with a great line of fun clothes for boys and girls. Suri Cruise’s day in the fashion spotlight just might end when Zoe’s son starts toddling down the red carpet.
While we can only speculate on how the child will be dressed, we do have evidence of how the baby bump is being styled. On her reality television show “The Rachel Zoe Project,” Rachel once intimated that when she is pregnant she will want to wear clothing that shows off her stomach and her body. This was in a section of the show when she explained that there are basically two ways to dress a pregnant body. The shape of the body can either be entirely obscured by garments or it can be accentuated.
It seems, however, that Zoe is already going back on her word. Earlier this month Zoe attended the MOCA Los Angeles gala wearing an incredibly loose-fitting black dress. It was almost as if the fabric was serving as a column surrounding and hiding the stylist’s actual body shape. In a few photographs, however, the baby bump was still apparent.
