Maria Sharapova for Cole Haan
Tennis Champion Maria Sharapova will be the face of a new sportswear clothing line for Cole Haan, the Nike Inc. subsidiary. The line, Cole Haan Sporting will be launched at spring 2009 and will consist of men’s and women’s footwear and accessories. We like athletes who takes care of their appearances and Ms. Sharapova is one of our favorite fashionistas on and off the court. Looks like Venus Williams’ EleVen tenniswear will face tight competition.
The line will also include flats, boat shoes, duffel bags and tennis racquet bags. It will be available in Cole Haan boutiques worldwide and on colehaan.com or a swanky range of $115 and $550.
Okay Venus, we take back our words, at least for now. LOL.
