The White House is in desperate need of a stylish and fresh young first lady, and I can’t think of any other woman to fill the position. And those cute kids! Malia and Sasha just can’t get any cuter.

I won’t talk politics here, but I am in love with her turquoise dress by Maria Pinto, worn on the Democratic National Convention in Denver, on August 25,2008. Heck, this woman can wear anything. I mean, come on. See for yourself.

Classic first lady look. Ahem. The pearls say it all.

A little bit Oprah-esque, but still, it’s Michelle and me lovey!

And the lady can go all fancy too. I want that dress!

A proof that she can even rock a plain t-shirt.
According to Katie McCormick Lelyveld, Mrs. Obama’s spokeswoman, there is no special stylist appointed to make Michelle as camera-friendly as she is today. Well according to me, aside from her not needing the standard White House makeover because she already HAS IT! Michelle Obama should just stay with her favorite hometown-based designer: Maria Pinto. The designer is known for her line of evening wear. I browsed around her site just now and am really really curious: can Michelle sport other Pinto designs?
Check out the designer’s collections here.
By the way, I am eying her flower pendant. I think it was the seal for her whole ensemble and emphasized the cute factor the Senator was referring to.
Go Michelle O.!
