New Face of Versace: Chace Crawford

Fashion gets younger everyday and even a surgeon can be replaced by a highschooler.

Patrick Dempsey of Grey’s Anatomy (probably) has to slide over and make room for the new Versace spokesmodel, Gossip Girl heartthrob: Chace Crawford.  The buzz over Chace’s appointment has been going on for quite a while, after he showed up at three high profile events: Fashion Rocks, the MTV Video Music Awards and Blake Lively’s 21st birthday bash.  People from Versace haven’t exactly confirmed this, however a Versace spokesman stated:

“We have been working hard to develop our relationship with Chace, and that is all we can say on the subject. Patrick Dempsey is contracted with us through Spring/Summer 2009. It is undetermined who will replace him at this time.”

Well, we wouldn’t mind Chace showing up in Versace suits, because the high school uniform gets old after a while.
